A Sweet, Simple, & Healthy Recipe to Share...

Healthy Banana Cookies
I found these cookies to be sweet, soft, and delicious!
3 ripe bananas
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup dates, pitted & chopped
1/3 cup grapeseed oil (I used canola)
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350.  Mash bananas, stir in oats, dates, oil, and vanilla. Mix well and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Drop by teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Note: I didn't add chocolate chips (pictured above), but afterwards, I thought they would be a yummy addition.

Stress is considered to be the major contributing factor to heart disease.  Efficient blood circulation depends on a healthy heart.  Give yourself the gift of yoga.

Please join me for a FREE yoga class Sunday, May 27, 2012 4:00 - 5:00 pm.

Requirement:  You must be able to maneuver to and from the mat on your own.  Leave the rest to me to guide you through a relaxing yoga practice.

Experience the Light

It was a privilege to have members from Chicago and Sioux Falls at East Bank Yoga providing FREE sessions of Light Energy ~ Sukyo Mahikari.  I had the opportunity to attend and was impressed first by the peaceful, eloquent people I met.  I received the light treatment and accepted additional treatment in various areas of my choice.  This was my first experience with Sukyo Mahikari and it was definetly healing and peaceful. I found it refreshing to be in the presence of people authentically commited to making a difference in the world.
